Cursor Pro usage limits, explained

Important: Cursor now has two pricing systems: - Legacy Cursor plans (Hobby, Pro, Pro+, Ultra), which continue for existing subscribers. [1][2] - The X Subscription, which new self-serve customers get, with one weekly pool shared with Grok. [3][4]

Check which one you're on before reading the limits.

Not published: the size of the Cursor Models pool. Cursor only says "significantly more included usage".

Cursor's own usage guidance [1]

When you hit the limit (legacy)

Turn on on-demand usage (pay-as-you-go at the same API rates) or upgrade. [1][5]

On The X Subscription instead?

Your Cursor usage comes from the weekly pool shared with Grok and Grok Bot. Third-party models are billed from the first use. See the X Subscription page. [3][4]
