Meta Muse: usage limits and pricing, explained
Short answer: Muse (Meta's personal AI agent at muse.ai and in the mobile app) is free with a usage limit. Paid plans raise a weekly allowance: Power ($20/mo) gives 500M Muse tokens per week and Maximum ($100/mo) gives 3B Muse tokens per week. Muse Code, Meta's coding agent, is a separate subscription ($5 to $200/mo) with 5-hour and weekly resets. [1][3][4]

- Plans have five-hour and weekly resets. [5]
- Hit the limit? Upgrade or wait for the refresh. On Maximum, you can only wait. [4]
- Subscriptions default to Contributor mode: more usage in exchange for letting Meta train on your content. You can turn it off. [4]
- Upgrades take effect immediately (prorated); downgrades start next billing cycle. [4]
- The subscription only works in the Muse Code CLI. Other API keys are billed pay-as-you-go (e.g. Muse Wonder at $4 input / $20 output per million tokens). [4][5]
Not published: the size of Muse Code's weekly limit, and the exact reset times.
Is Muse included in Meta One?
Meta's help pages describe Muse subscriptions and Meta One (AI usage across Meta AI, Facebook, Messenger and Instagram) as separate plans. Meta doesn't say a Meta One plan adds Muse usage. [1][6]
